Certified Organic Spicy Carrots by Happy Girl Kitchen

These are a strange combination of sweet and hot that you really don’t expect in a carrot. I guess it wouldn’t have been much different if it was a cucumber instead though. Over the hotness of the brine, the carrots have a nice taste, and were definitely packed when they were still very fresh. The crunch was a little inconsistent from carrot to carrot, with some soggy and some downright hard. My mouth is still on fire after just having 2 carrots, but not so hot that I need to drink 3 gallons of water. I think that these might be even better if chopped up and added to other dishes as recommended on their webpage.

Certified Organic Ingredients: carrots*, filtered water, apple cider vinegar*, honey*, thyme*, jalapenos*, spices*, sea salt.
